Science to Protect the Air We Breath
Este curso es presentado en Inglés.
In 1967, the Clean Air Act was passed. Three years later, mayor amendments to the Act were made and EPA was established. This laid the groundwork for national environmental regulations, including those for air quality. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 12-minute documentary, Science to Protect the Air We Breathe, tells the history of air pollution in the United States and the important discoveries by EPA researchers and collaborators that provided the information needed to reduce and control air pollution. EPA research continues to address new challenges to air quality, including mixtures from difference sources and climate change.
